White Chocolate Chip Macadamia Nut Pancakes

White chocolate chip macadamia nut pancakes The best pancakes I ever had were at a local restaurant that specialized in having a huge variety of different pancakes. I mimicked their recipe just by taste and came up with identical pancakes!

Delicious!!!

Start with any buttermilk pancake recipe of your choice. Using a box mix works just as well, but we have provided our favorite mix in the box to the bottom right.

Mix all ingredients together, and using 1/4 measuring cup, scoop pancake mix onto the hot griddle.

Buttermilk Pancakes:

2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
2 eggs, beaten
2 cups buttermilk
1/4 cup melted unsalted butter

Sprinkle on top of each pancake:

Chopped or whole macadamia nuts
White chocolate chips

When the pancakes stop bubbling, flip and allow to cook until brown on both sides.

Top with fresh whipped cream and/or any pancake syrup of your choice (fruit flavored syrup highly recommended!)

Yields: 12 pancakes
