Go Green!

Hug the Earth Why Go Green?

Besides the obvious need to prevent the further decline of a seemingly confused weather system, going green in the home is a choice that affects you on a deeply personal level.

The harmful chemicals we often use in the products we consume are shown to cause many problems, literally making you and your family sick! Pesticides in our food, lead in our homes, petro-chemicals in our hair and skin care products... the list goes on! All of these shown to cause or contribute to depression, mental problems, neurological disorders, accelerated aging, cancer, weight gain, etc. Scary, isn't it?

By switching the products we consume, we are creating a cleaner, healthier home for our families. Plus, you would be surprised at how much more cost-effective going green actually is! Switching to rechargeable batteries and Compact Florescent Light bulbs (which last significantly longer!), would save your family a LOT of money!

It is important to teach our children to care for the world they live in. Helping them develop a sense of pride in the world will increase their own sense of worth. Teach them to treat the world, and their own bodies, with the respect that they deserve.

We have already compiled some resources to help you learn how to get started on "going green".
