Easter

cute easter bunny Easter, like Christmas, is a holiday with major Christian influence as well as Pagan influences. For Christians, it is a celebration of Jesus Christ's resurrection, a watershed event within Christianity. For Pagan religions, Easter is a celebration of the coming of spring, bringing fertility and re-birth. The Easter Bunny is a very old symbol of fertility, as is the ancient custom of exchanging eggs as gifts.

Easter is always held on a Sunday in-between March 21st and April 25th, marking the spring solstice/vernal equinox.
