Crunchy Coleslaw



From The Kitchen of Robyn Haggerty

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons sesame seeds
½ cup slivered almonds
½ large head of cabbage shredded or can use
1 bag of the pre-shredded packaged kind
4 green onions, chopped, using part of green
1 package chicken flavor Top Ramen

Dressing:

½ cup oil
2 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
1 flavor packet from Top Ramen Soup

Directions:

Combine the oil, sugar, vinegar, salt, pepper and flavor packet from the top ramen noodles in a jar with a lid. shake well.

Toast the sesame sees and almonds in a 325 degree oven For 8-10 minutes until lightly browned- WATCH CAREFULLY!

Combine the cabbage and green onions. Break up the ramen noodles by hand and add to the cabbage mixture. right before ready to serve combine the cabbage, onions and noodles in a bowl and add well shaken dressing. Sprinkle the toasted almonds and sesame sees on top and lightly toss all together.
