Corn on the Cob... To Go!

Want to have freshly cooked corn on the cob at your barbecue or picnic? Try this cool trick for delicious freshly-steamed corn on the cob.

Ingredients:

10-12 ears of corn, husked and cleaned
About 1 1/2 gallons of water
Butter, salt, and pepper to taste

Directions:

Place uncooked ears of corn into a large thermos. Bring water to boil. Once water reaches a rolling boil, pour water over the ears of corn in the thermos. Close thermos and forget about it for a minimum of 20 minutes.

Corn will stay fresh in thermos for about 2 hours or more! When you're ready to each, remove an ear of corn from the water, then butter and season to your liking!
