At The Hip Homemaker, we believe in content from the heart, versus sounding like an encyclopedia. We want to hear your unique ideas and hear what is working for you in your home. That is why we are continuing on with our quarterly contest. As incentive for sharing your favorite homemaking advice, we offer you The Hip Homemaker Quarterly Articles Contest! Our first quarter was a huge success, and we received articles regarding homemaking advice that we would never dream to offer! Everyone knows something different, and that is why we want to hear from YOU! Share what you know with homemakers around the world. You never know whose home you will influence!

The Rules Are Simple

Submit an original (not copied) article pertaining to homemaking. "Articles" are in the form of the following:

• Educational articles
• Sharing photos of party/wedding/decorating ideas with a brief description on how you made the items or where you found them for purchase
• Favorite recipes

--Articles must be informative (overly informative is best!!), and well-written. The Hip Homemaker and The Cromie Company, LLC reserve the right to reject an article, but will do so only if it doesn't fit our listed criteria as seen here. We will base our decision on whether or not to publish your article on the ability of the author to offer up constructive tips, advice and techniques. Because this is a drawing/contest, we cannot pay for the articles submitted unless you are a winner. You are welcome to submit already published stories or to publish the article elsewhere if we decide to publish your article, but other websites may publish your works ONLY with your express written permission.

How We Decide the Winners

It's a drawing, friends! The more articles you enter, the greater your chances of winning! In our first quarter, one person won both first and third place! Each article submitted puts your name into the hat for a chance to win. Each name entered is typed onto an identical piece of paper, folded the same way and put into a hat. We will then videotape the drawing which is done COMPLETELY AT RANDOM.

1st Place: $50 Amazon Gift Card
2nd Place: $30 Amazon Gift Card
3rd Place: $20 Amazon Gift Card

Quarterly Schedule for Drawing

First Quarter: January 1st - March 31st
Second Quarter: April 1st - June 30th
Third Quarter: July 1st - September 30th
Fourth Quarter: October 1st - December 31st No deadlines! Your submitted article simply falls into the quarter in which you sent it in! This contest is ongoing, but prizes are awarded at the end of every quarter.
