Chocolate French Toast

Chocolate French Toast Ingredients:

3 eggs
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
12 slices day old bread, crusts removed
3 (1.55 ounce) bars milk chocolate candy bars, halved
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
confectioners' sugar

Directions:

Mix together in a bowl: eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt.

Dip each slice of bread into the mixture and cook on a skillet, just until cooked through. While still warm, place six pieces back onto the skillet and place a piece of chocolate onto the middle of each slice. Cover with remaining six slices. Cook just few minutes until chocolate is melted.

Cut each slice diagonally and top with powdered sugar.
