CheddarWurst in a Warm Cozy Blanket



Ingredients:

1 package Hillshire Farm CheddarWurst Sausage (or any cheesy mini sausages)
1 tsp Butter
1 cup Onions, shaved
1/4 tsp or less Sugar
2 packages Crescent Roll Dough
1 jar prepared Russian dressing prepared

Directions:

Remove the CheddarWurst from the package and slice into ˝ “ thick slices.

In a sauté pan, melt the butter and then add the onions and sugar.

Cook the onions on low-medium heat for about 8 minutes or until the onions are golden brown. Let cool.

Remove the crescent rolls from the package. Place a small dollop of the cooked onions onto the center of the wide part of the dough.

Place one slice of CheddarWurst atop the onions.

Starting with the wide end of the pastry, roll the dough over the sausage until all of the dough is wrapped around the sausage.

Press and seal the ends of the dough and place on parchment paper on a cookie sheet 6.

Bake in a preheated 350F oven for about 8-10 minutes or until the dough is puffy and golden brown 7. Serve immediately with a bowl of Russian dressing for dipping.
